Golf Courses:
St Andrews New G.C
St Andrews New G.C. A typical out-and-back seaside links layout with some taking too and fro, that offers many of the renowned features of the Old Course (rolling, undulating fairways, hidden greens, thick gorse and testing winds). Were it not for the proximity of its more illustrations and ancient neighbour, there is no doubt that many Open Championships and other major events would have been fought out over the testing and demanding oldest New Course in the world challenge. 18 holes, 6604 yards, par 71.
St Andrews Old G.C
St Andrews Old G.C. The most famous golf course in the world will undoubtedly be the highlight of your trip, with a unique tradition more than six centuries old. A caddy is recommended if this is your first game on the Old Course. 18 holes, 6566 yards, par 72.
Elie G.C
Elie G.C. The coastal setting has made the course enormously popular. There are plenty of holes to challenge the mettle, including the par-four 12th which forms a dog-leg round the bay. 18 holes, 6273 yards.
Kingsbarns Golf Links G.C
Kingsbarns Golf Links G.C. Sir Michael Bonallack, Captain of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews has quoted Kingsbarns might well be one of the last true links sites capable of development in Scotland. Mere words cannot convey just how extraordinary the place is. It must be seen to be believed, and once seen never forgotten.
